老实说，regex的编写本不是这类期刊论文的主要内容。

同意wxsong,但好东东，顶一下！

1、很好的正则工具，但怎样才能试试呢？
2、如果只是检索cleft sentence“it is/was ...that"，那么word的通配符检索也能取得近似或一样的结果，且不用附码：“it [iswa]@ [a-z]@ that" 和“it [iswa]@ [a-z^32]@ that"（不用引号，"it"和@的后面有一个空格；后者greedier）。
3、检索“双宾语”是试金石，不知这个patternbuilder效果如何？
4、经google,有许多patternbuilder,为什么不用个不重复的名称呢？
5、感谢梁博士的贡献。

This tool saves the trouble of composing a regular expression character by character.
Alternatively, with the basic building blocks, like nouns and verbs, users of PatternBuilder can assemble them on an incremental basis. Please be creative and use your mind to build/modify your own patterns. Little knowing and blindly following others are always dangerous.

For those who are interested in the regular expressions of complex syntactic constructions, like ditransitives, we would be more than happy to see whether they could share their expressions with the aid of PatternBuilder later.

Thanks, Xu and Lao Liang! I'm just a beginner of CL and regular expression. There's much more to learn from you and everybody else.

PatterrnBuilder does not seem agreeable with ditransitives retrieval. Is there a C-pal who feels comfortable with the tool and will share their ideas/regex here?
​
Hopefully, personally of course, the tool will work well for this function in its latter version.
