corpus-informed: a parallel term to corpus-based and corpus-driven
As I see it, when your research has something to do with corpus data but is a pre-scientific use of the corpus, and your conclusion is not solely based on corpus statistics, you can call your research corpus-informed.
 
normalized frequency: 正态化频率
我翻成正态,是因为normal distribution的通行翻译是正态分布。
 
Normalised frequencies are also called standardised frequencies. When corpora of different sizes are compared, raw frequencies extracted from those corpora are proportionally brought to a common base for easy comparison. But I am afraid they have nothing to do with normal distribution.
 
Agree. There are several translations commonly seen in the literature with the term "normalized frequency", they are:

标称频率
正常化频率
归一化频率
正规化频率

I'd like to go with "归一化频率" for "normalized frequency" in its sense in corpus linguistics.
 
其实归一化还是比较准确的,归一本来就是数学术语。
