Mike and I have ascertained that the registration problem was caused by the names entered using the Chinese input system which were sent to him. Some of the names contain some invisible characters.

The following users will have problems with their registration codes:
Zhang Baicheng
Xiao Puqin

and possibly the following users (but it is likely they will not have a problem because those characters appeared at the end of their names)
Guan Xinghua
Wu Shangyi
Zhang yan (I have proposed using Zhang Yan when recomputing the new code)

New codes will be issued for the above users.

Please do not panic if your code does not work. Just let us know.

No I didn't try your codes. Rest assured that I don't have access to them. I only looked at the name list.

我还没试呢？听大家一说，是试不了。我的系统WINME，也没有安装打印机。试了也白试。

大家的Utilities->Viewer & Aligner能用吗?我选择sentence view,一点击
File就出现错误窗口 ?换了机器还是这样...

相对于WST3.0,WST4.0对于检索词性标注出现很多噪音.
如对BNC WORLD EDITION中对相邻名词的检索<w NN*>* <w NN*>*就不可靠.不知各位有没有类似的情况出现?

Don't expect too much from WST4 or ParaConc for alignment of parallel texts. They cannot do that reliably.

Thanks, Dr. Xiao. so what's the best solution available? Surely I don't expect automatic alignment from them. If only they can perform the search of parallel texts accurately, it seems enough to me.

For parallel conccordancing, ParaConc is is perfect. But it only works with pre-aligned texts.

Adjustments are also needed for the misaliagned sentences.
