BNC不知道如何用？ World Edition Installation

借来BNC却不知道如何用？ 各位大虾请来支招！一共两碟。第一碟提示我INSTALL TEXTS。我已经装上了。第二碟里面只有一些文件。顿时傻了眼，狗咬刺猬不知从何下手。他们都是用来做什么的呀？我想用BNC做个MOTIVE 和MOTIVATION的语义和语用区分该如何做？谢谢！

我前一段时间还装过BNC呢，先装第一个盘，再装第二个。可是不知道是不是盘有问题的缘故，我装了几遍也没能使用。我同学说很麻烦的，要反复装好多遍才能成功。sigh。。。
 
请您介绍一下您的BNC是哪一年版的？在国内能买到么？价格如何？是单机版的还是网络版的？
 
他手中的一定是BNC World Edition，国内自然是买不到的。在BNC的网站上订购。

仅能回答第一个问题。
如果是bnc world edition，插入第一碟后应该有一个列表，一个是安装text，一个是安装sara软件。安装text时出现c:命令提示符的窗口，这时要耐心，等到窗口自动消失。到提示插入第二碟时再换碟。

最好还是看看光盘上的用户手册、安装指南。

succeeded in the installation?
 
not yet. tiger, i don't know what is wrong. i have succeeded in installing Sara32 and put the BNC folder directly under c:/. when i open Sara32, it says "server can't open local corpus". what shall i do?

that may be because you have not installed text. the text component of the package is right the local corpus.
 
Install Text also copies the index files and corpus parameter to your local disk. Without these files, SARA reports an error that the local corpus cannot be opened.
 
so many index files, confused. would you please give more details?

i am really puzzled? it is so complicated that i spend a whole afternoon installing it? install and uninstall repeats several times. it is really exhausting. i felt very tired and frustrated. aaaaaaai
 
step 1 insert cd 1 . then the welcome page poped up. i closed the page. an accept or not page poped up. i chose "accept" then start installing texts.
step 2 after i install the texts, i start to install sara.
step 3 it reminds insert cd2 . I inserted the second cd and continue. it lasts about half an hour. at last, the ms-dos reminds "alrealy finished"
step 4 i start sara32, press "ok", see a default server, press "ok" again" then problems came. is says " server can 't open the local server"


what is wrong? help me
