I am very pleased to announce that the Hong Kong component of the
International Corpus of English (ICE) is now available.
The corpus (ICE-HK) contains just over one million words of contemporary
spoken and written Hong Kong English. The current version is a lexical (not
POS-tagged) version.
It is available under licence for the purposes of non-commercial, academic
research.
Full details on how to obtain the corpus can be found at:
http://www.ucl.ac.uk/english-usage/ice/avail.htm
Other ICE corpora available from the same site are India, East Africa,
Philippines, and Singapore.
Sincerely,
Gerald Nelson
ICE Project Coordinator
