How shall I interpret the above table? what does each item mean? Which one tells if there is significant difference? shouldn’t there be something like P=… ?

Either the Asymp.Sig. .001 or the Exact Sig. .001(for the 2*2 case) is below .05 or .01, so there is great significant difference between them.

Thanks for the explanation. but what do the imtems mean respectively?
Which one is the value of p? What if Asymp. Sig. contradicts with Exact Sig.?
If the expected frequency is below 5, what should be done?

for 2*2 case, to be exact, we need Exact Sig.;for others,Asymp. Sig.

Sorry ,the value 11.441 is the chi squared score, not the the p value - the p (probability) value in this case is 0.001.
