Xu, Jiajin (许家金). 2009. Log-likelihood ratio calculator（对数似然率计算器）. Beijing: National Research Centre for Foreign Language Education.

You can paste your frequency data obtained from concordancers or other tools in to the white cells.

The spreadsheet automatically returns log-likelihood values, p values (Sig.), and the information as to whether the word is overused (+) or underused (-).

It is also important that you know how to use "fill handle" (填充柄) in MS Excel.

Your comments and error reports will be highly appreciated.

许老师您好，非常感谢您提供的这个计算器，它用起来非常方便，真的很好。您的无私帮助让我们很多人受益匪浅。但是我还有个疑问就是它的计算结果也就是有没有显著差异和CHI-square一样吗？会不会存在不一样的情况，哪个更加精确呢？万分感激您的帮助。

"Log-likelihood test (G2) is more reliable than chi-square test (Dunning 1993). The result from the LL test is interpreted in the same way as for the chi-square test".

这不禁让我想起，bill gates曾经说过google的在线office比微软至少落后十年！我的意思是：其实微软的电子表格功能非常强大，我们很多人只利用了其中的1/10的功能不到。其实以上这样的工作有的人可能会编程来做。但其实电子表格就可以搞定了，而且更简单实用。。。

Bill Gates的话也对也不对。问题是，我们需要用到百分之分的Office的功能吗？再比如，现在手机越来越先进，我们主要还是用它来接听电话和发短信，估计还不到其功能的1/10，但却是最核心的功能。其他功能似乎不那么重要。

看不清楚，你把数值copy出来后，先贴到记事本里，编辑好，然后再拷贝到论坛上来。

不好意思，我刚才已经下载了，没仔细看，以为只是个普通的Excel表格，没想到竟是计算器，您真厉害啊，佩服
