廖秋忠先生

我最近在南方周末上看到了一点关于廖先生的事，以前看过徐赳赳先生讲自己的启蒙老师--廖先生。先前还只知道廖先生是一位语言学者，没有想到他还是一位爱国者。高山仰止，后学楷模！

廖秋忠先生是台湾籍的爱国学者，在美国获得PhD以后，因为信仰问题无法回台湾而投社科院任职。当时他的学生有徐赳赳、张伯江、傅爱平等。

No problem. Dr Liao was an excellent discourse linguist. Very sad he passed away at
such a young age.
