Modern Psychometrics Workshop - 28 April to 2 May, 2011

ASC is offering a workshop on modern assessment methodology at Jiaxing University, P.R. China, April 28 – May 2, 2011. The goal of this workshop is to provide a broad introduction to item response theory (IRT) and computerized adaptive testing (CAT). The workshop will be taught by Dr. Nathan A. Thompson, Ph.D., Vice President of ASC and adjunct faculty at the University of Cincinnati. It is held in association with the College of Foreign Studies, Jiaxing University. Jiaxing, a beautiful southern city, is located just outside Shanghai, P.R. China, conveniently accessible from across Asia. An attendance certificate will be issued to each person that attends.

A limited number of graduate student scholarships to fully cover the registration fee are available through the Applied Psychological Measurement Inc. Graduate Student Grants Program; please email Prof. David Weiss for an application.
