Yes, this is the paper I have been looking for. There are many good insights in the thesis. I downloaded a copy 3-4 years ago but failed to find it ever since.
I found the summary in the table on page 3 very interesting when I first read the thesis.

I find the section on rationalism and empiricism very interesting. It compares the corpus linguist with the theoretical linguisti.

i once got some papers on computational corpus linguistics, but i found most of them were from computer majors. those terminology is too hard for me.
