For oral English in academic setting, try MICASE.

Each of the million word ICE corpora (all free except ICE-GB) contains 60% of spoken data.

There are 10 million words of spoken data in the BNC, which can be freely searched at Mark Davies's VIEW at BYU.

There are many others that are are not free.
