请教bnc网络版的购买问题

通过努力，得到单位的批准，可以购买网络版的bnc。但是，不知道bnc网络版对计算机的运行环境有什么要求，如是否有强制性端口，操作系统等要求。不知道，有没有购买过，有经验的c友能够提供一些意见。谢谢！

Not sure which version you mean - the BNC online version (SARA) or the Web version (BNCweb)?

In addition to order a copy of the BNC World edition CD, the BNCweb software needs to be purchased separately.

The system requirements (a whole manual forinstallation) running BNCweb can be found below:

However, this version does not allow wildcard or regular expression search (e.g. you cannot search for all adjectives from the corpus). A new version of the software (BNCweb CQP edition) is out - but I am not sure if it for sale. This version is more more powerful. There is a paper on this forum introducing this version - the paper is also available at the software author's website at http://www.ling.lancs.ac.uk/staff/hoffmann/index.htm
