如何用WST4 做Mutual Information Display?

刚刚试用了WST4. 在帮助文件了找了Mutual Information Display,却怎么也弄不明白它的第一张图上的界面是如何弄出来的. 请参考我上传的截图. 请赐教!

In Wordlist, create an index list for the whole corpus, then select "compute mututal information" from the menu. You can sort the full collocation list by different statistics.

Thanks a lot, Dr. Xiao. I made it finally. The key step is to press the button "Make/Add to index" on the control panel. I neglected that button in the past.

open "concord" and make a concordance of any node word. Then look at the bottom of the screen and click "collocate" You will find "compute" button on the menu, then choose" mutual information". You should make a worlist beforehand. Otherwise you are not able to compute.

我按你说的步骤去做啦，点MI button后，弹出对话框：Confirm Filename，我浏览输入了
刚刚建立的wordlist，然后点OK。但是之后还是collocates那一页，并没有显示出 MI值：（怎么回事呢？
WS4.0 是不是不能计算T值呢？

你已经成功了。你所看到的COLLOCATES 那一页是不是有“relation”那一列。如果你当初在主控制面板上设的是MI值的话，那么这个“relation”值就是MI值。主面板设置，在主控制面板上找到settings-adjust settings-concord-relation statistics，可以设置MI3, Z等值。

你已经成功了。你所看到的COLLOCATES 那一页是不是有“relation”那一列。如果你当初在主控制面板上设的是MI值的话，那么这个“relation”值就是MI值。主面板设置，在主控制面板上找到settings-adjust settings-concord-relation statistics，可以设置MI3, Z等值。

0.000 is displayed because the strength of relationship has not yet been computed.

You should first make an "index" using the Wordlist function; then open the index in Wordlist, and go to Compute - Relationships in the main menu of Wordlist. Wait until the computation is completed (it takes a couple of minutes for a one million word corpus). The a new tab is included in Wordlist for Mutual Information (not just MI, just a whole range of collcation statistics such as MI, MI3, LL, and Z).
