BNC 里能够检索不设限的3词,4词之类的词块吗?

BNC 里能够检索不设限的3词,4词之类的词块吗?
我试了好多次, 是不是一定要借助像wordsmith这样的软件? 有没有免费替代软件的?

另外, 比如我想搜索带in的三字词组, 我把span设为2或3, 后面添加两个内容框, 一个内容为in, 还有一个设为any(任意), 应该是可以的啊, 但好象不能检索, 跪请高人指点:)

免费的AntConc应该是可以的.可是用来检索BNC估计会吃不消。
另外，PIE或许可能有点用。

Sketch engine does not do the n-gram.

I haven't tried this function of Sketch Engine, but according to Adam Kilgarriff, it can. Here is his message in the Corpora mailing list:

"Take a look at the Sketch Engine (http://www.sketchengine.co.uk - self-registration for free trial). It finds the triples you are looking for in a fully corpus-based way.

Resources like the Penn Treebank are way too small. BNC (100 million words) supports pretty good list of high-salience triples, as you'll see on the site."

Couldn't log in to the service with my newly registered trial account when I tried to see the ngram function. Don't know why.
