biber的多维模式如何可以达到？

biber列出了67种语言特征，归入5个维度研究不同genre的语征共现。使用go tagger 标注的语料，用wordsmith3.0是否能够达到这个研究目的？试了很久，没有成功。也许是我不得要领。因为请教版里高手给以指点。

简单说来，就是把Go Tagger标注的语料，统计出每个Tag的频数，然后导入SPSS里进行Factor 和 Cluster Analysis，得出维度。建议生手最好先复制Biber的原始数据进行分析，看能否得到同样的结果。

I designed a set of search patterns for use with data tagged using CLAWS C7 tagset, which is similar to GoTagger tagset.

Note that Biber's MDA framework includes not only POS categories but also larger structures such as passives.

first i tried dr. xiao's method. went to the website, but i found no link for downloading. "File-based search patterns can be downloaded below. After downloading, extract these compressed text files into c:\wsmith. " only saw the 7 factors listed below. would you please show me how?

Biber only mentioned 7 Factors. My search algorithms search for 58 lingusitic features (not 67 in Biber's model. See my 2005 paper for an explanation).

but i can't use it readily. my corpus is tagged by go tagger, whose tagsets are different from CLAWS. i have no idea what the tagesets stand for, say, GE, MC. WOULD IT cause too much touble if you list all the tagsets here? in this way, i could change some of them to tags of GO TAGGER.

GoTagger represents the rudimentary stage of CLAWS tagset, and CLAWS is the recent sophicated version. As I was told, CLAWS8 tagset (C8) is available now.
