2、操作步骤。现在打开MS WORD，单击菜单→视图→自动图文集，选择它，这时word上应该增加自动图文集工具条。

3、键入要插入的码，把它高亮化，单击自动图文集→新建→键入该码的名称，最好使用汉语，且意义明显的名称。比如使用“拼写错误”就比“fm1”这个名称容易看懂。为了查找方便，最好把自动图文集中原有的所有内容全部删除Error1。

按钮，然后才可以键入自己的码，比如Error1、然后“添加”即可。
或者在当前状态下，在文档正文中键入要插入的码，比如Error1，然后将其选中。这种做法跟上面的做法效果一样。

现在比较起来这种做法同用宏的方法的差别在于宏可以一次完成两步或多步的操作。比如我们可以给被标记内容同时标上开始标记和结束标记。

谢谢xujiajin的补充说明。其实WORD中的自动图文集、宏以及宏的自动录制、VBA都可以用来完成那些需要大量重复的文字录入或附码工作。制作宏的思路非常好，在选择文本片断后可同时插入开始和结束两个码。感兴趣的可以试试powergrep这个工具软件，用它来统计和查询附码文本相当好用，其对文本的操控功能非常强大。其网址是：http://www.powergrep.com

This is the kind of things that one can do by modifying the DiscTag samples
(互动文本标注示例）that come with ACWT.

Of course, there is nothing wrong with working under the MS Word
environment. But the alternatives are there.

Question: Is there any way to share parts of a normal.dot file? The other
user may not want to use all of your normal.dot settings.

This is a generic question, not for AutoText/Tagging per se.
 
1. We can save another copy of the modified template with a different filename, eg. normal01.dot.
2. Copy this normal01.dot to the template directory and the user can make changes to this template and in the meanwhile the default template, ie. normal.dot will not be overwritten.

We can have a handful of such tagging templates as such.

You almost made it.

Right-click and find create new pull-down menu and then drag-and-drop the buttons you wish to the right menu.
 
thank you, besides,how can I put new items under each item which is in a category? technically can it be done?
 
Yes, the pull-down menus mentioned in #52 are actually what you called the "category" of items.
 
I put brackets before and after the item in the menu(i.e the tag),but brackets don't appear in the place where i tag in the text,why?

This was a hot thread in earlier days of corpus4u. Due to the incompatibility of asp vis-a-vis php, all images in the old version of this BBS were made invisible in our last transformation to the new bbs system.
