This GUI (Graphical User Interface) version of the BFSU Stanford Parser 1.0 was developed by Mr. Yunlong Jia, and designed by Dr. Jiajin Xu and Mr. Yunlong Jia.

This tool automatically transforms, or, technically, parses, English plain text(s) into grammatically analyzed texts in both bracketed format and dependency format (cf. Stanford Parser dependencies manual).

The result of parsing will be saved after execution by default in the same directory of the source text(s) with the extension *.par. You will be prompted to enter a file name, if you wish to save many texts into one single file.

BFSU Stanford Parser 1.0: A Graphical Interface Windows Version of the Stanford Parser is freeware. The software comes on an “as is” basis, and the authors will accept no liability for any damage that results from using the software.

我试了一下，在我这是19秒。Parsing过程较PoS tagging确实复杂一些。

有一个问题跟大家讨教：

目前版本的BFSU Stanford Parser 1.0和BFSU Stanford Tagger 1.0运行过程中都可以看到黑屏。

有老师建议我去掉，我回来想了想。

去掉不难，但看到程序每秒钟处理的实际进程，感觉也不错，同时可以了解到处理进度。

想听听看大家的使用体验。是否要去掉黑屏？

鼠标点3下差不多就操作完了。

parse后生成1个tag文件，这个文件是分析结果吗？我怎么看分析结果？

使用word打开吗？
用Word打开可以看到内容，但是里面有例如VBZ，NP，不知道是什么东东？估计是语言学的术语缩写，俺不是这个专业的不太懂。

NP是名词短语，VBZ是动词的第三人称单数如bases reconstructs marks mixes displeases seals carps weaves snatches slumps stretches authorizes smolders pictures emerges stockpiles seduces fizzes uses bolsters slaps speaks pleads ...

问：我经常阅读英文原著，有些难句很需要类似软件的帮助。

答：这个工具主要做研究之用。用这个来理解难句，有点。。。不过，你的问题倒是对我们一个很好的启发，说不定，真可以进一步开发一个难句理解的工具。

在软件根目录下的pdf文件里有。
NP是名词短语，PP应该是介词短语。

那个PDF的解释也不是很全。

我觉得是两方面。
1）消极型辅助软件的开发，即将外语解释为母语。
这里面比较难的就是难句，以及一些微妙差别而造成句语的不同。
例如：I'll be out of office和I'll be out of the office.就有差别，诸如此类的。

2）积极型辅助软件的开发，即用外语来表达思想。
这个语料库软件给了我们一个很好的辅助。但是，如何使用地道的句型，如何选用地道的词语（朗文的活用词典可以给与帮助，不过始终有限）。这个就需要很好的软件。
例如，牛津的搭配词典，牛津联想词典，朗文活用词典等。

建议将这些软件的用户界面做得更好一些，诸如现在流行的金山词霸，灵格斯等，但他们的功能还是很限的。

谢谢你的反馈，目前这个软件是为语言学研究服务的，不是一款学习辅助软件。性质大有不同。

求助：为何我用此工具得到的.par文件是0kB??
