PDF was not even invented in 1957. The use of "一定" sounds a bit demanding.

Thanks, Mr Huang. I have already downloaded the the paper in the form of PDF, however, i found that it's not the complete book i wanted. Do you have the whole book in the form of pdf? Or would you mind telling me where i can download the whole book for my paper? Thank you very much!:)

I don't think the rest of book is of any use for a corpus linguist.

In fact, i am writing a paper and want to quote some important sentences of his study in this book on probability and system, because that are just the basis of Halliday's theory on probability in grammar. Thanks!:)
