回复: xaira的应用 检索了提示有几百个结果solutions,结果只能显示一个
When there are more than 100 hits, the user is given the option to choose to download the initial/first or random N hits (N is set to 100 by default but can be changed to any reasonable number), or download all hits, or one hit per text.
You can see only one hit/concordance line because the default setting of display mode is the "page" mode, i.e. one hit per page; you can use PgUp/PgDn to turn pages. Or you can change the display mode into "line" mode by clicking on the small blue icon to the left of "Plain" on the tool bar to show the conventional KWIC mode.
Xaira has many advantages over other concordancers. It is fully XML aware, allowing you to search for not only content but also form of markup and annotation; it is fully Unicode compliant (at the time it was developed there were hardly any tools that support Unicode); it displays full sentences in line/KWIC mode; it can compute collocation and colligation; it can be used to do distribution analysis, among many other useful features. For a full review of the tool, see Xiao, R. (2006) Review of Xaira: an XML Aware Indexing and Retrieval Architecture. Corpora 1(1): 99-103.
The drawback of the tool is that there is much documentation available. The following presentation might be useful:
