I think the key is that your file must have an extension indicating that this is an image file (gif, jpg, jpeg, etc). The uploaded image in the posting is included between the start tag [IMAGE] and the end tag [/IMAGE] (IMPORTANT: replace IMAGE with IMG); if not, edit it.
