用ACWT 里边的语义分析器（Verb Semantics/Aspect Analyzer）帮助给动词加标，
用 Xiao & McEnery 2004提出的动词语态分析模式分析相关动词，得到如下结果。

1）SLS (Stage Level State)状态动词对两者分不出高下。
2）"曾/曾经" 常跟Activity 动词同现。
3）"已/已经" 常跟Achievement 动词同现。

个人理解，分析不一定对。

According to the appraisal system(one branch of lingusitics), the affect s(emotion) of yi and ceng are different. yi seems to hold the feeling of alreadiness and not so explict desire of going again. But Ceng senses to take the feeling that the action of going there happened some time ago and seems to express the desire to go again.

Sounds interesting, and certainly a useful perspective. But any corpus evidence
for it? There should be a way to quantify your statement.

when we use "已（or已经）"we are more intended to indentify our past activity than when we use "曾（or 曾经）",曾 carries some flavor of experience clarrification. so we are more likely to use 已经 to state the fact that we have done this something, and we'd rather not do it again if possible, when we use 曾经，we just say that we have such an experience, which some else may not have
