Do the following:
1) File - New query - Query builder
2) Left click on the node box (on the left) and select XML
3) Select Text from the list of XML elements
4) Click on ID
5) Click on Add from the list and select A
6) Press OK twice
7) Move the the query box (the box in red on the right)
8) Left click on the box, select Edit - Word
9) Type in zhongguo and press Lookup
10) Select zhongguo from the list
11) Click on Query

thank you very much. i got it under your direction. see besides, i would add one step into your already-detailed explanation. it took me some time to discover. there should be a step after your "step 3)"

I did not index lemmata in the indexed verion of LCMC which you download. Lemmatisation is of no use to Chinese as it is not an infectional language.

The most likely problem is that you have downloaded the wrong version of Xaira. The indexed version of LCMC you have just downloaded does not work with Xaira 1.14. Do not use the Sourceforge link to download Xaira 1.13 (wrong pointer). download at the LCMC website.
 
it really works, but when i open LCMC corpus, and fill in "的", let it work, and the result is "small squares" not Chinese charatcters, i don't know what's wrong.

I use Xaira Wizard to index LCMC, and when I open the LCMC.xcorpus and input the word "了" in the word search box, it displays n hits, but all the concordance lines are square without chinese charcters,(I use the chinese character version of LCMC ),maybe something worng with my parameters,unfortunately, I tried several times to alter some parameters, all are in vain.
Dr.Xiao, could you tell me why?

You need set the font when you run Xaira client.
View, Font: 宋体, Script: Chinese GB2312
